There is hope after miscarriage; My ultrasound results today...

Hi all.  I just had my first ultrasound today (after my miscarriage in late October.)  Well, I'm almost 8 weeks and the heartbeat showed about 150 bpm.  I am so happy.  I have been a nervous wreck day one after my miscarriage.  Always thinking that I would never be able to have children again.  Well, today was the day!  I was very happy to see a heartbeat but am going to hold back on telling anyone (except family) until I'm into my 2nd trimester!

That is wonderful news... I am glad that you heard the heartbeat. I hope to one day be pregnant again after my misccarriage in dec and have a sucessful story like yours.  I dont blame you for now wanting to tell anyone I think I will do the same when the time comes. Enjoy your little one.

Congrats!  Yes there IS hope.  I had a m/c in 99, went on to have 2 full term, no complication pregnancies.  I had a m/c this past aug and I am now 14 weeks pregnant

awesome news I so know that feeling after 2 MC's I still haven't let myself bond as much as I feel I should with this pregnancy.....but so far my babies are fine......Thank God.....so congrats...
