Period problems

I am 16. My period had been about 2 months late, which has never happened before. I was nervous that I was pregnant. When I went to the hospital for kidney stones, they routeenly did a urine test. Nothing out of the ordinary came up. Then, while they were giving me toradol and other medications through the IV for pain, they took my blood. Shortly after that, they released me from the hospital. It's been about a month since the urine test, and still no period. I guess what my question would be is; If they found out I was pregnant through my blood test, would they contact me after I left the hospital and let me know?

unless Drs are looking for pregnancy they may not have requested that to be checked when you had your blood test. I know this because i had blood tests done when i thought i was pregnant and the Dr thought she would do a general blood check up for hiv and others things as well as the pregnancy test, when i rang for the results i was told that everything was normal, I asked how a pregnancy test could be normal only to find out the Dr had forgot to order it so after another blood test i found out i was indeed 8 weeks pregnant. so my advice to you is to go any have another blood test or take a home pregnancy test or even both.

The ER would have told you if your blood came back positive for pregnancy. However just because they released you without say yay or nay doesn't.mean you're not it could mean that you weren't far enough along for.them to pick.up on your hcg levels. Take another at home test ASAP see what it says they go to.the Dr

So with a negative urine test, and them not saying anything when they took my blood, I still could have a baby?

My advice for you is take test home and schedule an appointment asap. Sometimes it will be hard to.tell because it can interfer with your menstro. Trust me im 17 and I have nephrotic syndrom iga which is another kidney disease. I had this since.i was 9yrs old . My period was always iregular . Im 22 weeks , I found out when I was only.4.months . So please find.out quick having a health.condition and being preqnant without knowin will.be bad for.you and baby , you will be listed.as a high risk preqnancy.
