You can have a full period while pregnant. It is rather uncommon, but not as rare as many seem to think. I had two full periods while pregnant with my daughter and this included the thick dark globby discharge of the lining. My doctor believes that I had dropped two eggs initially and only one was fertilized and the second month, since the period was slightly lighter, it was a single egg drop or an unsuccessful egg split. You can also see more evidence of this from some of the women who do not know they are pregnant at all until the child arrives.

Congrats girl.it most likely was your period 2 weeks ago.you ovulated roughly 2weeks  afterwards.some women are lucky enough to get the positive early on a pregnancy test.on my 17 year old son i got my positive 8dpo..mind you I was a pee on a stick addict.implantation bleeding normally happens when you are due your period.if not bit sooner.congrats on your pregnancy, have a happy 9 months :)

I just found out I am pg after having my "period" 2 weeks ago.  Obviously, it wasn't really a period or I wouldn't have gotten a positive preg test yet.  It was 5 days long but super light, and even thouhg I had gotten BFNs at 8, 9, and 10 dpo, I decided to test again.  Sure enough, pregnant!

This is my 7th pregnancy, and I've never had a "period" while pregnant before, but now I understand what people mean....

Clysta is correct, you cant have a period when pregnant.a period is shedding of the linning, when failed conception, however it is possible to bleed during pregnancy, but obviously this isnt a period, and one shouldnt be bleeding all the way through a pregnancy.have you had a confirmed pregnancy test ? just looked at your profile, was a bit confused said your a male.bit hard to get pregnant then.no seriously if your worried in any way you need to talk to your doctor.best of luck.

I'm confused by your post. You don't have a period while pregnant. A menstrual cycle (a true
one) involves ovulation, and you don't do this while pregnant. Vaginal bleeding and a period (which can be quite similar in terms of flow and length) are also quite different. Spotting and vaginal bleeding can be common in early pregnancy, but you don't get it every month. In your post, are you questioning why you didn't get one this month, or questioning how far along in your pregnancy you actually are.

It is quite possible to have your period while your pregnant. A very good friend of mine had her period her entire pregnancy.. Bled like a stuffed pig.. *SORRY TMI* She had 3 beautiful babies.. Dr's don't know exactly what causes it, but as long as baby is healthy and hormone level's are rising.. There's not too much concern.
