Periods while pregnant?

My last period was around July 26/27th (first day of last period), but I got it six days early. I normally start my period in the beginning of the month. Could it be because I was already pregnant? I was spotting real pink for a day then it turned into brown and then period. I am so confused. I had no period at all last August. I am six weeks pregnant, so I know why I'm not getting my period but my last one was weird.

It is NOT possible to have a period while pregnant.  Some women bleed during pregnancy and mistaken this for a period however this is uncommon and results in a miscarriage in more than half of these cases.  If you are 6 weeks pregnant, it is a great sign that you havent had any bleeding.

If you got a period even if it was off then you weren't pregnant at the time. Has your doctor given you a blood test or ultrasound?
