Good and bad news

I had my scan today and found out it's a healthy boy! It took 3 hours as he was in the wrong position for the measurements so I had to keep walking and twisting about to get him in the right position. All of that moving has taken its toll and Im now getting severe pain and weakness in my hips. I had spd/pgp in my last two pregnancies and this feels exactly the same.  I don't know how I'll cope this time as Im alone with my three other children until December. I am really happy that my son is healthy though. A day of mixed emotions.

Physical therapy is really painful and doesn't really help and the waiting list is a couple of months long. Im back on the waiting list now so I'll just have to grin and bear it for the next couple of months.

Have you done physical therapy and strengthened the muscles around your pelvis and hips?

Im very excited! I tried almost everything to get rid of the pain before but nothing worked as it was just temporary relief for a couple of hours. The pain doesn't really bother me as I have arthritis but last time it got to the point of only being able to take 5 steps in a minute as my hips just kept giving way. It isn't too bad at the moment so I'll just concentrate on the joy and excitement of the scan for now. Im just glad that he is healthy and feel blessed no matter what is to come

Yay.  Healthy baby boy so exciting! Could you do physical therapy, yoga, or baths to help? I don't know much about it but there must be something to help the pain.
