I wish you the best in this situation. There is a chance you weren't far along as you thought, but I don't see a reason to rush into a D&C. Trust your feelings, and if you feel better waiting, then I say wait. When I went for my 1st ultrasound I was at 5 weeks 6 days, and then went i went to see my dr, I should have been 6wks 5 days, she put me back as the baby wasn't as big as it should have been. I ended up having a mc, they wanted to do a D&C right away, and I was like are you sure.. it is okay to question your dr. They let me wait and I ended up doing having a miscarriage on my own. I knew in my gut that it was happening, but didn't want to rush into. There are some many emotions that you are dealing with. God bless and please keep us posted!
When you went for the second ultrasound was the baby measuring a week bigger than the one a week before?
I think that maybe you ovulated later than you thought. I will keep you in my prayers and I hope everything works out.... Did they do a hcg....
That early in pregnancy dr s say you should still see the yolk, it goes away later in weeks. As leighanne said, could you be mistaken on when you ovulated and not be as far along.
Did you have hcg levels done on your first appt when you saw your ob dr. and did they draw levels when you recently went to dr. I had missed m/c at 10weeks 3 days. u/s showed baby was 10 weeks but no heartbeat. I could feel in my body something was not right.
Try not to worry and see the second dr and go from there. I will keep you in your family in my prayersss. Keep us posted and we are here if you need to chat
