Please help.

What is the difference between "light spotting" and "bleeding".
I didn't have either with my first pregnancy and I'm 7 weeks along and haven't been to the Dr yet... just went to potty and saw blood.. it's not thick  but it was more than just a few spots... it alarmed me. Two days ago I posted on here about my uterus hurting. I'm going to go be seen tomorrow but right now I'm upset and would like to hear anything you ladies might have to say?

I went to the ER today and they did all kinds of test and blood work and sent me home telling me I am alright for now... and as soon as I get home the bleeding starts again. So the good news is everything is ok... but it looks like this pregnancy is definitely going to be different than my first.

I have experienced both spotting that turned out to be nothing and spotting that turned out to be a miscarriage. It's too hard to know until your seen. I hope everything turns out well.

Miscarriage bleeding usually starts after a pregnancy is ending,  and the miscarriage process has begun.  If your breasts still hurt the same,  and you are nauseated as you were before,  you're likely to be okay.

Yes. I still feel pregnant and still feel that way... but at the same time I literally JUST started bleeding and jumped on here. I haven't been to the Dr yet because I just found out my insurance had been cancelled.

I don't know that there's a specific answer for the difference between spotting and bleeding.  Spotting can either be just hormones or an irritated cervix,  or it could be something more.

Do you still "feel" pregnant?  Do your breasts hurt and are you nauseated?
