Is it a good idea to get my Membrains stripped at 37 weeks im on high risk pregnancy my breathing is really bad my feet and hand are swollen im already 1and a half cm dilated and my mucous plug fell out last week ive been cramping etc ...

She knows thats why im on high risk and I see her twice a week my breathing gets worse and I feel myself losing oxygen sometimes when I have contractions

**but from what it sounds like you probably don't have long. If breathing is bad,  make sure your Dr knows!

No, not unless your Dr recommends. At 37 weeks if your due date is off, baby has a chance of being born before lungs are fully mature. Usually 38-39 weeks is much better. If your Dr wants to wait, I would.  A lot of finishing touches are happening that really benefit baby, so unless there is a more urgent medical need it's best to wait. Hang in there, you're almost there!
