Amanda-- yeah that's what I thought too...Like I said though hopefully these Tommee Tippee's will work out..they're easy to clean and very easy to hold and they really are very very much like the breast.
Spiket I like the medela ones but I have a bit of caution about them...the nipple is quite long and some babies gag on it, as well as it's also fairly hard IMO for newborns and takes the babies I know that use them quite a long time to finish eating...my SIL just switched to the Tommee Tippee's too because her medela pump bottles were too difficult for her little girl...so she pumps into the medela bottles and stores in them, but uses the TIppee's now.
Did you notice that problem with the nipples on the medelas, Cass??
Hmm so three people have mentioned Born Free..has anyone actually used them though?
Honestly, we use the cheap parents choice bottles from walmart and we havent had a single problem with them. Matthew doesnt really have much problems with gas ....he toots a lot lol and doesnt actually require a lot of burping. the only thing he fusses about when eating is the nipple...it has to be a silicone nipple..medium flow. I like the parents choice bottles because u can afford to buy a buttload of them and u can buy short ones and tall ones. But if Boomer has gassy issues id prolly suggest spending your money on the more expensive kinds.
I was given a madela pump with all of the bottles and nipples. I was also given Avent and Dr Brown bottles. Guess we will see what the kid likes! HA!
Almost too many choices.
I voted the medela bottles. I used those until they were eating over 4-5 ounces, then I switched to either playtex, gerber or the walmart brand. I've never been big on the expensive fancy bottles
Ooooh Majikat you sound like me! I used Avent with my first and never had any problems but I'm thinking of going with the Born Free glass bottles this time around.
I used avent with my first 2 and for this one I am thinking that I will use Born Free
