Pls help!!!

Hello ladies, I am about 6 weeks pregnant. I'm 18 years old and an immigrant, meaning I have no green card or papers. Do y'all know if I am able to get help for doctor visits to check up on the baby? :(

I think in any country,a child's welfare is given first right. So l guess you can go to doc for a check up

You absolutely can get help. Check your messages. I inboxed you some information. It all depends in what state you are in. Don't despair, there are clinics that deal with situations like that.

It just depends on where you live.i live in yakima washington and my mom is immigrant and she had ah baby last year she got help so she didnt have to pay out of pocket just have to ask the clinics to see if you qualify to get insurance while your pregnant and so i would just reccomend you to ask good luck

Before I got Medicaid the place I went to said they will still see me but if I didn't get approved I would have to get on a payment plan and pay out of pocket so in this case if you don't get Medicaid you will probably have to pay out of pocket which is alot of money.

Perhaps you could just go back home and get your papers like the other people said? I'm not that good with things involving immigration.

If you are an illegal immigrant I'd advise going back to where your home is and getting your papers or going wheerever you have to go to get your papers I'm not sure where people go to get their green cards but I'd suggest doing that

If you are an illegal immigrant, then I'd have to say no. I'd say check with your local DSS (Department of Social Services) but if you're illegal then that'd get you in trouble...This is a sticky situation...
