Possible Miscarriage . Without me knowing ?

Hi ,
For the past couple of weeks I have been having light spotting and light cramping . I have taken pregnancy test and they all said negative . This morning I woke up cramping really bad for about 5 to 10 mins and when I went to the restroom . It was bright red blood and a bright red blood clot . Could this be a miscarriage ? What could this be ?

Hi ,
I missed a cycle for the month of feb . My cycle normally starts on the 15th . So this isn't the start of my cycle . I have had a clot in my cycle but nothing like this . I don't ever have painful periods . My cramping is very mild and only lasts for a day or so . Thanks

That could have been an early miscarriage. So early (only a few weeks) that you don't have enough HCG in your system to show up positive in a pregnanacy test. Having light bleeding which lead into cramps and passing a clot would make me think miscarriage, but a really early one. You can see your doctor if you are not feeling well or you are worried, they would pretty much do a PAP or possibly an ultrasound to make sure your body got rid of everything.

Clots are uterine tissue; it does not signify miscarriage. Some women have clotty periods all the time and others get them from time-to-time and many women rarely ever have clots at all. With negative tests and your period starting I would say you're not pregnant nor miscarrying.

However I would still contact your doctor because spotting for two weeks may be the sign of something going on. I'd bring up endometriosis because that is the first thing that comes to mind when I hear clotty periods and irregularity and very painful cramps.
