Possible Miscarriage

my friend went to the er yesterday because of dark blood with clots. told she could be miscarrying but they won't know anything till monday when they check her blood levels again. this is her first pregnancy and i was wondering if anyone else had bleeding in the beginning of their pregnancy and everything turned out fine. she's 7 weeks.

I disagree with ^ with this pregnancy I had some major bleeding at the beginning and I passed a large clot. And it continued to be s normal pregnancy. We never figured out what the bleeding was. I have s healthy 5 week old right now. Stay positive and pray good luck

I had really dark blood like brown for about a week I was really worried but it has stopped now and I went to the midwifes today to listen to the heart beat and everything is fine it was the scariest thing ever the doctors told me not to worry unless its frest blood and alot of it hope this gives abit of calmto the situation

I know it doesn't always mean miscarriage cause i had the same thing when i was pregnant with my son.

That does sound like a miscarriage. There is really nothing normal that could cause that. I pray it wasn't! A lot of women have spotting but that is very very light blood flow and it usually isnt dark red, especially with clots. ):
