I'm not pregnant yet

Why am I not pregnant yet? My fiance and I have been trying for about one year now and still nothing. I was on the depro-vera shot a little over a year ago but they said that it all the way comes out in 3-12 months and I'm passed that now. I went and I got blood tests done and everything and they said I was able to get pregnant. At one point I was even taking pills that are supposed to increase the chances called Fertile Aid. I am seeing a lot of pregnant women and shows and I'm getting really depressed to. I also get normal periods so there's nothing wrong with that. I just don't know what to do anymore.

Hey, yes it is true that BC of all kinds messes up your body in the sense that you may not be able to concieve right away, but it is has been a while so i would def think you should be cleaned out by now. But let me ask you, have you bought the ovulation over the counter tests? They def work, not sure if you already did this, but it helps a lot instead of just winging it. But you may have already done so. I would keep trying, other possibilities are that maybe the father could have some problems, it is not always the women, i wouldn't get depressed or anything just yet, why dont you try for a few more months with the test kits and then seek medical advice, unless you already have. There is all sorts of things they can do, and they usually consider infertile when you can't get prego for a yr or more, but in your case you had to wait cause of your bc. so again i would try some more and keep your head up.!! The only thing left to do is relax and maybe take a break! I know, probably not what you want to hear but stress can cause hormonal issues, thus making it harder to conceive. Have you ever heard that studies show most pregnant women conceived when they were on BC or not even trying (unplanned pregnancies)? When we start TTC we can stress ourselves out so badly over charting, temping, ovulation signs, making sure we have sex, etc., etc. So give yourself a break, just enjoy your DH and have sex whenever.

welll birth control messes up your system........ so i think its acutally pretty normal not to get pregnant the first year..... hang in there!! good luck......
