Possible labor at 36 weeks?

I've been feeling a lot of pressure down in my pelvic area for the past 2/3 days and a lot of contractions. Also ive notice my belly has droped Any suggestions?

I went and got checked today for the same thing and they told me I was dilating 1cm and effaced 30% and the pressure was due to baby dropping n engaging as Well. Maybe it will be the same for you, Hopefully all goes Well for you. Keep us updated:)

Id go get checked..i had the same problem at 34 weeks and was already dilated to 1cm and 30%...i went back yesterday bc of the same issue now at 36 weeks and im now 2 1/2 and 70%...this is my 3rd and the only one ive dilated w at all... Dr doesn't think i will make it through the weekend..good luck

I had my baby girl exactly at 36 weeks. She was born weighing 6 pound and healthy.

Thanks girls!
My baby has deffenitely dropped but the pelvic area really hurts and it is very uncomfortable so I'm planning on going to the hospital in a few hrs

Its possible your baby has dropped. All that means is their head in engaged in your pelvis in preparation for birth. If the contractions are consistent and getting stronger its a good idea to call your doctor or go to l&d. However if it is labor, at 36 weeks they won't stop you. If the contractions aren't getting closer together and stronger they may just be braxton hicks contractions.
