Postpartum sex

I'm a 21 year old new mommy! Delivered my son vaginally, (no epidural) 3 weeks early on 4/14. Perfectly healthy! I'm just wondering if anybody has anything to share about there postpartum sex life. Did it hurt the first time u had sex after delivery? Did you wait the first 6 weeks? Is your sex life better than before the baby? Etc. I'm curious because during the last few weeks of my pregnancy my husband & I didn't get to make love often & now I'm really looking forward to making love again, I'm just afraid it might be painful or not as good. Any advice or experiences??

Mines was the same before and after. It tightened back up perfectly down there. We waited 6weeks exactly. I did kegels everyday basically all day for six weeks n we both enjoyed very much.

I'd definitely wait until 6 week check up and docs okay to avoid the painful thing, esp if you got any stitches? And also you are VERY fertile, i know a girl qho didnt wait more than a week and got pregnant immediately after her son was born, babies were only 10 months apart! Ahh scary! Our sexlife was just as good if not better after my postpartum wait, i think him knowing we couldnt, made him even more eager after those 6 weeks lol
