Hey ladies I'm nine weeks and I have my first prenatal care doctor visit tomorrow... I wanted to know if they will do an ultra sound? I can't wait to see my little reptile :]

Depends I had my first one at 7 weeks, but we were going through with a feritlity clinic so they do one that early. They actually have the equipment right in their office so it was super easy.   My next one is next week so at the 12 week mark, then I'm sure there will be another one after that.

I'm from UK and you have your first ultrasound between 12 and 14 weeks to check for down syndrome

yeah it depends on the doctor.. here we cant get them before 12 weeks unless there was some concern and generally they are not done again until 20 weeks.

It depend where you are from, i have read some womens posts that their Drs have bedside ultrasound tables and they have gotten them at their first appointment... i live in Saskatchewan Canada and here its fairly standard to get an ultrasound at 12 weeks and 20 weeks... unless your high risk or they are questioning something...
