Fertility Testing

Hi,

My wife and I have been trying for a child for a while but with no luck.  I was thinking of going to see my family doc, just wanted to know if my family doctor can order a semen analysis or do i need to go to a fertility clinic?

I dont think your PCP can order semen analysis.  He/she will just refer you guys to your wife's ObGyn and/or fertility clinic

Most doctors will not do any testing until you have been trying for a year unless there is an absence of a woman's period.

Hi, my dh had his sperm tested from our local doctor, so i guess it doesnt hurt to ask. Good luck with your testing if you have any questions i am sure someone here will be able to help
