Pregnancy After A Tubal Ligation

Hello, I was wondering, what is the possibility of becoming pregnant after a tubal ligation also commonly known as "tubes tied"

9 yrs ago I had a tubal ligation done where my tubes were snipped and burned. My period was always normal and with my oldest son I did get my period for the first 4-5 months during pregnancy, I recently started feeling some pregnancy symptoms and I am a bit perplexed. I took 2 pregnancy tests that came back negative. however, I am constantly nautious, craving things I don't normally eat, I am sensitive to certain smells, sore breasts, weight gain (I gained 7 lbs in a week) my last period was not like my usual period, It was more like I was spotting and really pinkish.  My fiance has also been getting some symptoms, he's gaining weight, craving foods he wouldn't normally eat, he has become sensitive to certain smells as well. Some of my family members have said I have a pregnant glow look in my face, but I am not sure what to believe, I have not yet "missed  a period"  although as I mentioned my last period was not like any of my normal periods .. I am due for the next one in a few days and I am just waiting it out to see if it comes or not. I am thinking maybe I should make an appointment and get a blood test done because at this point all my symptoms say I am pregnant but the tests come back negative.  is it possible to become pregnant after a tubal ligation??

Thank you so much for your replies. I think the best thing for me to do is to wait and see if and how my period comes down. if it's still more like spotting, pink and only lasts 2 days like it did before.. i am going to take a test after.. if it comes up negative i'll make an appt to have blood tests done. because this morning everything seemed fine and then I felt so nautious I got goosebumps every where. this is kind of nuts. after 9 years of a tubal for me to feel this.

My dr said it was a 1 in 1000 chance of getting pregnant after you get your tubes tied. The less fertile years ahead the less chances you have. I'm getting my tubes tied and I'm still afraid I will get pregnant after. I wish they could just remove my overies lol

There's 1% chance out of 100.. my aunt got pregnant with her daughter 12 years after getting her tubes tied. She had to get blood work done to find out if she was pregnant because the pee test didn't ssshow positive.
