By this stage of pregnancy many baby develop a "routine" so to speak.  It's not at all unusual and might actually be a sign (though no scientific evidence of this) that your baby will have an established routine when he/she is born :)   My oldest rarely moved, she's now very laid back.  My two middle kids were constantly on the go in there and they haven't stopped yet, my last one hod more of a routine...moving more during certain times of the day etc.  He's always been a very scheduled baby, taking naps at the same time, for the same length, etc.

I am 22 weeks and mine has a pattern! He moves when I wake up and twice trough out the night and always lays head down during the night then breech when I am awake. He has done this for two weeks now. THis is my 5th and I can tell you that they do start geting patterns around the time they can hear and by you haveing a routine more also. On the weekends my routin is differnt and I noticed even before two weeks ago say around 16 weeks he was always quieter on the weekends like he was tired. I would get scared and eve n went to get his heartrate checked when he hadn't moved for almost a day. As soon as they put the dopplar on me he kicked it and rolled over:)

Hahaha.. don't doubt your sanity!  Hold on to it for as long as possible.. 'cause it's going to fly out the window in about 10 weeks or so.. :P

I definitely feel like my little ninja bean has a schedule too.. and is definitely more comfortable on the left side.. even the doc said that it's bum always feels like it's poking out to the left! There's usually patterns of movements too.. like a series of kicks and then some definite arm movements..

Oh.. but those random waves like it's doing the worm dance in there are fun too.

Congrats on your wiggler  :)

Hey with my last little boy, he started kicking every night at 3 am (which is when his daddy would come home from work) and it was always to the right side. Babies at 30 weeks have regular sleep and wake patterns so what you have going is probably just his or her schedule. Congrats on the growing baby!
