Pregnancy symptoms when breastfeeding?

This isn't an "am I pregnant" question, I was just curious if there are any moms on here who got pregnant again while breastfeeding (before your cycle returned) and if the symptoms were the same or different then with your first. I knew right away that I was pregnant with my son, but it was just fatigue, sore swollen boobs, hunger, etc, no morning sickness. Now that I'm breastfeeding a 3 month old fatigue  and sore boobs are kind of normal and I'm nervous I might not know right away if I get pregnant again. I know every woman's different, but has anybody experienced this?

Thanks!! I'm not super worried, more just curious. I'd like to wait a year ir twobefore having another little blessing, but if that's not how it works then I'm okay with it. I'm def still taking my vitamins, avoiding alcohol, etc.

If you're exclusively breastfeeding (feeding at least every four hours around the clock) your ovulation will probably be suppressed enough that you won't get pregnant. It's not one hundred percent but it's just as good of odds as condoms/the pill used by average people that mess up on occasion! After your lo starts sleeping through the night (experts define this as five hours or more in a stretch) or you start introducing foods, I would definitely recommend birth control if you're not planning on having them close!
If you are planning to have another one quickly, take extra good care of yourself. Since you're nursing you should still be on s prenatal and off of booze/smoking, so even if you don't realize immediately you're probably just fine! Baby will be taken care of if mommy is!
This may be a little tmi but this is how it went for me: had my lo in November. Had a period in February and March (was in the hospital for three days not nursing in January). Had a period in July, a period in October, a period in January, and then found out I was expecting again in February! I weaned my daughter about a week before my estimated conception date lol. My midwife told me that's probably what did it!
Sorry this post is so long! Last thing, way to go for nursing mama! Three months is a fantastic start. :)

I'm luck enough that my son regularly sleeps 7-8 hours through the night, so breastfeeding isn't going to be as effective as if he was eating at night. My hubby and I use the Creighton Method for family planning. Its a type of NFP that's very effective, similar rates to hormonal birth control. It was very easy to use before, but it since breastfeeding changes your hormones it has been more difficult to use since my son was born, and we haven't been as strict about following it as we should be lol. Artificial  BC isn't an option for me because of religious and health reasons.
