Pregnancy test negative, going on four months no period!!

So my last period was march 3rd. I suddenly haven't had my period for three months now. I am very regular I have had my period since i was 12 yr. old. I went to the doc. 11 after i missed my first period. got a blood and urine test and it was negative the doctor told me that I should start my period soon that in my urine test there was a slight of blood in it and that I probably have a cyst. well two weeks later pass by and still no period went to a different doctor and he checked me and said I don't have a cyst that the urine test was negative for pregnancy. So why suddenly would my period stop I HAVEN'T been dieting , im not over or under weight, my thighroid is normal, and all the urine test say im not pregnant and its been three going on four months with out my period?

I know there are alot of things that can be wrong. I'm not over or under weight. I haven't over exercised, Haven't done any traveling and haven't changed my diet. I thought it could be my thyroids but if so can it make me miss my period for 4 months in a row? Its just crazy because my periods have been VERY regular for Five years and then suddenly no period! Blueish veins started to show up on my boobs and stomach.

There are a LOT of things that can make your period disappear for a couple of months besides cysts. Like stress, over-exercising, traveling, change in your diet, etc, etc, etc

Some cysts cannot be felt and an ultrasound is necessary.

I had the same thing happen... I was regular 28 day cycle girl and then January it just stopped. I thought I was pregnant. No doctor I went to could explain it to me. One doc finally told me that some times it is normal to just not have a period (which is really hard for me to believe) and I took provera in March and had a withdraw (period) and then finally had a period in May. I am not sure if it was because I actually ovulated or if it was just an off thing. I would think that your doc would want to give you provera because sometimes it jump starts ovulation, and sometimes it doesn't ... Good luck!

Ive asked for an ultersound and all the doctors think im stupid, but I think I know my body better than anyone else. One doctor said it was a cyst but and another doctor actually checked me and said it wasn't a cyst so who knows! It gets so furstrating! like Two weeks ago blue veins just showed up over night around my boobs.

I would ask for an ultrasound. I was neg. at the office in both urine and blood tests (April 17th). I was neg. on 7 hpts. I went in for an ultrasound of my ovaries 2 weeks after I was put on the pill to regulate me (May 5th). The ultrasound showed that I was pregnant! Due to the pill I miscarried and had a D&C on May 30th. I would atleast ask for an ultrasound to be safe before doing anything else.

Well then I guess you're definitely not pregnant. I would ask your doctors WHY you're not getting your period, it could be from a cyst, could be from an infection, could be a lot of things but it needs to be checked into, it's very unhealthy not to have your period for that long. I would ask for an ultrasound to see if you have a cyst or not, and if not then ask them what else could be causing a delay in your period. Good luck!
