inconclusive scan

Just went for my scan, and the doc said it looks like am only 5/6 weeks even though I should be 10/11 weeks which is what my other doctor said. Its inconclusive and looks like that as the sack in my womb is there but there no heartbeat or fetus yet she says which is why she says 5/6 week. Am just scared as 5/6 weeks is consistant with the hpt as it only turned positive at the end of november but I missed my period in october too, so that's what has me puzzled. Am just so scared that my pregnancy isn't progressing and that's as far as it will go. Gutted.
Due back next friday for an actual conclusion. So here hoping.
Anyone elsehave any experience with that?

I'm so sorry, i have had 2 miscarriages and did not know why. My doctor then found out I have PCOS. I have trouble maintaining the pregnancy. I was told that once I became pregnant again, she would put me on progestrone supplements to help me maintain the pregnancy. To not give up hope and know that it is not your fault at all. It will happen. I have not given hope up and I know it will happen soon.

The pain is getting a bit worse now, and when I tried to do the toilet earlier I squeezed and some more fresher looking blood came out.
I am losing faith more and more now. Am afraid am going to wake up in a pool of blood tomorrow.

(Sorry don't know how I pressed enter there)
Went for my scan early bacause ever since me and my husband hed sex on tuesday I spotted on weds a pinkish color and thurs and today its been more dark dark red but no clots or anything. It worried me so doc got me in for scan today. But at the scan I said to the woman after the scan about the bleeding and she just said some women bleed and some don't it can be completely normal. But she won't know anything more until next week as the was inconclusive and she need to compare pictures.

But what I forgot to ask her waseven though she said the sack was there, but would she be able to see if I had started to miscarry? I mean I know as she didn't say anything like that but this bleeding is making real uncortable and I have a whole week to wait.

You could have not ovulated in october (why you missed you period), but then ovulated in november, gotten pregnant, and that caused you to miss your second period. The 5/6 week time frame is really stressful, some people see something, some people dont and come back in a week and there is a beating heart and everything. Try not to stress too much, a repeat ultrasound should confirm everything. Best of luck!

I went through a similar loooong wait last Mar/April. Basically I had to keep going to the Dr. every week getting U/S and giving blood to see what was happening with the baby. It took time to really see if the baby was growing if a HB would show up. It was a long wait and it turns out that I had to get a D&C but it doesn't always turn out that way, sometimes you are just earlier on then you think. You are just going to have to wait it out and hopefully your dates are just off.

Try not to worry (In know, it's impossible!) try to wait until they give you a conclusive answer.  I skipped my period for 4 months before I got pregnant because I wasn't ovulating every month.  This has never happened to me before so I was very scared that I wasn't going to be able to conceive.  Even though you missed a period in october, you may have only gotten pregnant in november.  Good luck!
