hi.. i m pregnant. my.lmp was 12 of Aug.... when i went to early pregnancy u/s in my 6 week its was shoe less than 4 weeks and no heartbeat and no sac seen..
after 10 i went again for u./s ..but is was showing 5 weeks 1 day only....no heartbeat..and no sac seen. my Dr. told me after 7 days will do it again..
i m so worried..plz help me.i have one miscarriage last dec..i dont want to loss it again.

hi, you may have ovulated or implanted really late..
the last scan showed you are 5weeks-1day, which is too early to see a heartbeat..
Its easier said than done, but please try to relax as worry causes more complications..

Your doctor is correct in asking you to come back in 7 days.. so at 6weeks-1day you should be able to see a sac and yolk sac.

I have been through something similar to this, I went for an ultrasound at 6 weeks and they found there was no contents they thought I was only 4 weeks or so, I went back a week later and again there was nothing, they sent me home again and this time I had to wait 10 days for another ultrasound. In the meantime I was having regular blood taken and my hcg was rising. I finally went back and there was no contents. They diagnosed me with a blighted ovum, where the fertilised egg didnt grow but my body still thought it was growing a baby. I had to have a d&c a few days later. It is till possible that you can be very early for them not to detect anything though. If there is no contents still on your next scan I would demand another scan a week after as they do make mistakes with your dates. i really wish you all the best and fingers crossed it works out for you.

I had the same thing happen, I went for many ultrasounds because we were unable to find the baby...we only found the sac....I had too suffered a blighted ovum 4 months earlier and miscarried naturally...Different story, sorry.\
Anyhow, I went many times and it wasnt until I was 8.5 weeks that I seen our baby...we were bumped up half a week aswell. Crazy how we couldnt find her and then when we did she was bigger than her actual gest age. She is now nearly 8 months old.
There are a few other ladies that have had early ultrasounds where nothing was visable and then went back to find baby. Don't loose hope and try not to stress to much.
