Thankyou. Actually I don't ovulate until a week before my period. It's been that way for the longest time. I remember when trying to concieve my last daughter, I bought ovulation tests and it was only a few days to a week befor emy period that I ovulate. Weird. That's what I've been thinking was happening. Thank goodness someone else understands what I'm saying lol. I keep trying to explain to the dr whats going on and he's like a deer in headlights. so I find out more from my bloodtest today. Wish me luck!!!!! I need it. Oh and btw. It is red blood, and I think it's because my body didn't detect hormone early enough to stop the bleeding. It's not too tissuey it's like a regular period it seems like. but I did retake that test last night and it was darker positive than the others as well as morning sickness this morning. I ALMOST got sick, but I held back. Is that a good thing?
By the way, if your levels are 29, it'd be too early to see anything on ultrasound. The first thing you can see on ultrasound is the gestational sac (where the amniotic fluid and baby reside). That usually happens around 5 or 6 weeks. In rare cases I've heard of them seeing the sac at around 4 weeks.
Well you could've ovulated late and therefore the hormones that the blastocyst (AKA baby) would send throughout your body to stop a period didn't happen in enough time. 29 is enough to register on a home pregnancy test (most can read around 25).
What is the bleeding like? Is the blood brown, pink, red and are there clots or tissue?
yeah ive heard of not having a period, but ive heard of bleeding during early pregnancy and that in some cases its normal. just confused as to why my tests are still coming up positive. i go tomorrow for hcg levels again to see if going up or down.i hope everythings okay too. :(
i personally have never heard of having a period while pregnant, but i've heard "stories" and no it's not 'your last period' because your body knows to not have another while you are pregnant, other than that i have no idea what it could be.... hope everything's ok...
yes I took an at home test friday and saturday in which both came up positive. I'm still bleeding and I know doing some research they say that some women experience heavy bleeding at the beginning of their pregnancies. I'm a little lighter than a period, but heavier than spotting. I took another test today in which again, was positive and darker lines than the ones on friday and saturday. I go tomorrow to get blood drawn and am waiting impatiently for thursday to get my results. but what I'm concerned about is if I JUST got pregnant like perhaps 2 weeks ago, had a test that could pick up a level 15 hcg level (and the pregnancy test on friday had very very faint lines) and then to go to the er last night to wehre my hcg level is 29 and then i redo a test today while still bleeding and is a darker positive line. I'm just alittle confused as to what is going on and maybe i just found out really early and my body is having its last period or what. has anyone ever heard of this issue before?
You could be miscarrying hence why the low level.they should test again in few days to see if your level goes up.hopefully it does..
did you do an at home test?
are you still bleeding?
