I agree with Sun. Tests are made to detect only the hormone and not the amount in it. You can have a high hCG level and it could still be a faint line, so don't use a test to judge if a pregnancy is viable. Your doctor will be able to test and see if your levels are rising as they should and an ultrasound in the coming weeks.
The intensity of the line has nothing to do with how pregnant you are. A positive is a positive no matter how light or dark, pregnant is pregnant. If you are concerned something is wrong than you need to see your ob and ask for a beta hcg blood test and then a repeat blood test 48 hours later. If the hcg level doubles during that time it indicates a normal healthy pregnancy. Until then, stop peeing on sticks you might as well be peeing on money ;)
