Did anyone give birth prematurely? How many weeks were you? What were your symptoms of early labor? Did your baby have any health problems and have to stay in the NICU? Do they still have those health problems?

I had a friend who smoked her entire pregnancy, causing her to go into labor exactly one month early. But she got to take her som home the day she went home, and he was completely healthy.

Had my daughter at 24 weeks. No signs but sex put me in Labour. (Sex is norm fine I'm just the odd one out!) She was in nicu for 6 months, had 4 ops
Pda
Bowel perforation
Laser eye surgery
Bowel constriction from collitus
She is now a beautiful happy healthy 5 yr old! No problems just smaller then other 5 yr olds

My first son started to come at 28wks, they stopped it however. I was on be dress till I delivered which was 34wks6d. I spent the last 2 weeks on be dress in the maternity ward. My son got stuck and because of the midwife he has erbs palsey and benign myoclonic jerks (gimpy arm & nonharmful seizures). My second son was born at 33wks5d and couldn't breathe. He was on life support until they placed surfactant in his lungs. He also had a hole in his heart. The first had a 6 day stay in the nicu, the 2nd had a 14 day stay. Both are healthy and happy now. As for labor, I had diarrhea really bad for about a week before. That and mad back labor :/

Had my son at 35w went into preterm labor the first time at 25w they stopped it and I was on modified bed rest. My son spent 5 days in NICU due to not being able to maintain his body temp and jaundice. He has no health problems now.

My first was born at 35wks, battled preterm labour from 28wks. Second was born 4wks ago at 36wks and battled preterm labour from 27wks. I just felt like I needed to poop all the time and had so much pressure before regular timeable comtractions started. First needed 1wk nicu for feeding, breathing and jaundice and still has a kidney and heart condition. The second didn't need any nicu but had jaundice and still has feeding issues. Otherwise both beautiful healthy boys :)
