Was the bleeding bright red?

Are you still bleeding?

Not to alarm you but it could be perfectly normal or it could be a sign of early miscarriage.  It might be worthwhile to go to the emergency room... if not make sure you mention it to your doctor as he might send you in for an early scan.

with my last pregnancy, i had a pink blood spot at 5 weeks and one at 9 weeks, didnt think anything of it as it never turned into a flow and it was only when i wiped the two times.. at 12 weeks, I found out I was carrying a blighted ovum...  my mother had bleeding in the early weeks of her pregnancy with my sister (like actual bleeding) and she was born 9 months later so... there is no perfect answer

I'm about 6 weeks. I had cramping earlier in the day but when the bleeding happened I don't think there was any cramping at all.
