Yess ^^^ put foil so they learn to not go in. Sooner or later you wont need to put foil becausr they would have learned by now. :)
put one or two balloons in the bassinet.... problem solved! cats don't like balloons and it's save and friendly
Our room is off limits as well as our babies room.
I have two fur babies as well I've had them since they were real young so they're very attached to me I know it will be hard for them but I plan on making my room off limits to them once my little one is born.
Put tin foil in it they wont go in it then
Move little box and food out of your room and make it a room cat isn't allowed in by closing the door
I have two fur babies who are the same way. Our pack n play has a bassinet and they LOVE it. They were so cute in it at first that I let them sleep there (I was 4 months pregnant when we got it). Now I'm having my daughter on Monday and they still sleep in her bassinet... I have it covered so they don't shed on it of course and if we put something in it they stay out of it. Hoping they'll do the same with the baby in there. Will be interesting to see when one of them jumps up to find someone else in "their" bassinet lol. Don't sweat these little things, I'm sure your fur baby will adjust like mine. You could try putting something in the bassinet for now to keep them out though! Or every time you see your cat jump in there take him/her out and put back on the floor and say no sternly.
