Progesterone - missed a dose

I am 6 weeks pregnant and have been using progesterone cream to maintain my hormone levels.  I fell asleep without putting it on last night.  Do you think it could cause a big enough drop in progesterone to cause miscarriage?

i take prometriem an oral progesterone supplement and i was told to never double up the dose at one time. if in the same day or within a few hrs of missing you can take to make up for it but my doc said to never double dose at one time. but i think you should be fine with one missed dose.

Hi , I am on it as well but it is also vaginal suppositories and i havent missed none but soemtime i dont put it at the same time due to not waking up at night to put it on I put it 4 time a day and so far I believe that I am 7 weeks and scared to take a blood  work to check my level and to do a transvag ultrasoung cause the last time I did it they couln't find his heart beat, therefore I refuse to go to the doctor until 1 more week till i am 8 weeks to be for sure. can anyone tell me something that could make me feel better . but true

Its nice to meet a fellow member of the supplemental progesterone team!
I'm also on it...but taking vaginal suppositories, not cream.
I've been on it since I was about 4 weeks (i'm 8 weeks now), but I've never missed a dose yet. If it was just one though, I wouldnt worry. But you can always call your doctor to let him/her know and see if you should double up on it since you missed one.
Good luck :)
