Yes your body doesn't stop producing it until about 3 days after the baby is born.
I will tell you to do it by hand as I was using a manual pump for 15 mins on each boob with a 15min break in between and now my nipples are so sore I can't even touch them. I have also breast feed 2 baby's till 18 mths so I didn't think it would hurt.
I think if you do try it make sure you go slow and have some warm washcloth to put on your nipple after.
Good luck :-)
