Question about pricing of diapers

I know it is a little early to be worrying diapers, but I am really wanting to get all stocked up for the arrival of our little girl.  I am 22 weeks.  But my uncle works for St. Johns, a local hospital.  and he can get pampers for newborns, 240 diapers for $20.  and then size 1 diapers, 240 for $23, and then size 2, 136 for $21, and size 3, 112 for $21.  Does that sound like a good deal.  I cant seem to find the price and quantity of diapers on wal-marts website.   Please help.  I have to let him know something soon.  Thanks.

Size 1 Pamper's are like 20 dollars for 66 of them.. You're getting like 174 diapers for free!!

Michele, I use White Cloud (Walmart's off brand) and it costs me $15 for a pack of 80, size 5.

I find that Sam's Club has great deals! You pay over $20-$25 at Walmart for Pampers. I know size 5 is a quantity of about 80 diapers. I think you'll get a better deal with your uncle.

Yes, I believe those are good prices.  I spend about $19.99 (plus tax of course) for like 72 or 84 Pampers.  I believe that size is size 3.  I know it's for 16-28 lbs.  That's what my youngest is wearing and that's about what I spend at Wal-Mart of Target.  I always use the Pampers brand but that is def a personal preference.  I tried using an off brand on my first child and he had a bad reaction to it, so I have just always stuck to Pampers.  But I am sure there are many women out there that have done just fine with the off brands.  I believe my SIL is one of them......

So, those prices sound great to me!!!  Good luck and just make sure to spead out the sizes.  If you get them from your uncle, you may not be able to return any if you buy too many of the wrong size.

That sounds like great pricing to me!! Maybe see if **'s wholesale club, or Sam's Club has a website?? (these are stores in my state anyway) and if so, they sell in bulk. Maybe you could compare prices that way? Good luck!
