Is it a period?

Wondered if anyone could help, thought i had started my period on the 3rd of July but only had slight red bleeding not enough to fill a tampon or towel. Nothing on the 4th and a red blood on the 5th still not enough to fill a tampon.  I have had nothing since what could this be, could i still maube be pregnant or is my body still adjusting.  My period has been every 26 - 29 days since Dec 07 this one was 23days it should also have started on the 7th so i was early as well.  I haven't had any cramps or breast pain which i usually have about this time.

All help is much appreciated

Gillian

I've been trying to conceive since August 2007 after coming off depo-provera for 2 and a half years have never had a mc or given birth.  periods have been regular since Dec 07 between 26 and 28 days this has been the earliest of 23 days and only lasting 5 minutes.  Would like it to be implantation bleeding but i'm not sure, no cramps anymore and slight breast tenderness compaired to what i had

I don't understand some of your question because I don't know anything about you. Did you have a miscarriage or give birth recently? If so, your cycles can be very messed up for a while (they can become longer or shorter).

Or if you think you may be pregnant, it could be implantation bleeding. Otherwise I'd say it's just a crazy hormone issue and hopefully next time around your period will be normal!
