Question

I just went to express a bottle cause my boobs are sore as today and i only got 60ml out. Its been two hours since last feed. All the other times i expressed i would get 100ml. Does this mean my milks going? My girl is 3 weeks tomorrow. For the last two days she has just screamed. I can't put her down for more than 2 mins and im so tired and frustrated. I can't think of anything thats wrong apart from her just wanting mum. But now im wondering if shes not getting enough milk. I can't even put her down while shes asleep. So while i was trying to express she was screaming her lungs out. I left her in the floor for 5 mins and she just didn't stop. Then when i burped her after the bottle she brought up what i can only describe as phlegm. Should i be worried or is it prob just from the crying and then giving milk?

Sore, i remenber try the nipple butter. That helps sore nipples. I also had a breast pump that the piece that gos on the nipple was to small, normal. But too small for me, i had to get bigger ones. That helped alot. An infection can cause less milk.  I would def. Call ur doc. See if u have the right size nipple suckins.  And butter.. good luck

I pumped for 2 or 3 days when she was a week old cause i was so sore. I haven't pumped for at least a week. I might ring the doctor in the morning to check.

Are you soley pumping and using a bottle? I've heard your supply will lessen if you soley pump. You might want to supplement formula for some of her feedings. Call her dr and ask how much she should be eatting.
