Induction at 3cm dilated

Hi, I'm getting induced in about 15 hours, and I'll be 41+5.   On Friday when I had my third and final Membrane Sweep, I was already 3cm dilated and effaced (they don't tell us %'s over here in Scotland in regards to effacement) and my waters were "bulging".     My labour has been start-stop as baby is back-to-back and isn't putting enough pressure on my cervix to move me into the next stage of labour, I've just kind of stalled.       Does anyone know what Induction method is likely (the IV drips are last resort over here) so I know it's likely to be the Gel or the Pessary but I've been reading up on them and it sounds like because they are hormone based, that they are generally used to ripen the cervix for labour?    But I'm already effaced?    My own Midwife said all I need is my waters to go to be admitted as I'm 1/3 of the way to being fully dilated, but I'm booked in for an outpatient induction.      Anyone been in this situation before? x

That's what am wondering about, cause am already 3cm, but they booked me in for an outpatient induction... Im so confused :-\  surely i don't need to ripen any more? I know iv  inductions are last resort here and they are inpatient inductions.  So much to think about!  Im excited but Im also really nervous, it seems like forever ago but only yesterday that i found out i was pregnant lol x

I was 3cm dilated when I was induced because my waters had gone 24 hours before so they wouldn't let me go any longer. I was put on the drip but was told before they examined me that they would only be able to put me on drip if i was 3cm or more. The gel and pessary are used to make your cervix start dilating but obviously yours already is.

This time in 12hrs u shld b started and this time in 24hrs u cld hav a baby!! I thnk they will burst ur waters then leav u for a while to see if anythng happens. If not thn they will prob use other methods. Cant believe its finaly tomoro. U excited or nervous?x
