Questions to ask ob?

Im a ftm. Thank the Lord I've made it to 12 weeks:) Tomorrow is my ultrasound and up to this point I have no details on my baby. Besides edd. What are good questions to ask as far as my babys growth and development? So lost D: thank you thank you<3

Ask to hear the heartbeat. It is so special and will make it more real. Enjoy :-)

I'm only 6 weeks this time! The ultrasound I talked about before was from my first pregnancy in 2011. My second pregnancy had the exact same heart rate as my first! Talk about crazy! lol They were both boys :) They are now 2 and 14m.... My first doctors appt for this pregnancy is Friday. Not sure if I'm getting an ultrasound or not then. But, I'm hoping for a little girl this time! :))

I never asked about my levels. Anything my doctor needed me to know, he usually told me. The tec should check the heartbeat during the ultrasound and will measure the bpm. My first ultrasound I went in at 12w3d and the bpm was 136. After she measured me, she told me I was actually 13w1d. So that was a plus! I believe I was able to hear it then also. They'll measure everything and check the heart and all.

Thankss! Is the babys heart rate important at this point? Also heard something about hgc levels should i ask about that?

They'll usually tell you about how the baby is growing and if they don't, you can always just ask them how's the baby doing? Are they growing ok?

Depending on your ultrasound tech, you can ask them once the ultrasound is finished. Most like to just measure everything before talking. Every time I've gotten an ultrasound, the tech would just tell me that the baby is growing fine or everything is looking good.

Anything you want to know, just ask away. I'm sure they'll talk to you about it :)
