Questions

I am 8 weeks pregnant and I was told by a nurse that my husband and I should not have sex a lot (which I can't get enough of lol) and not to be in the sun a lot (since I basically live at the beach)... Anybody know if these are true?

Maybe your cervix is thin, sperm thins out your cervix it helps prepare for delivery. Maybe that's why she said that, she had a reason to tell you that but yes sex is very healthy. And it's the summer time stay very hydrated, and keep your body cool.

I would double check with your doc on if that was from them or just the nurses opinion in general

Yeah I never heard about the sex thing.. For the most part I heard it's healthy. It's only unsafe once your water breaks..

Some sun is okay, I use to tan not for as long as I normally would when I wasn't pregnant but just stay hydrated and use sunscreen no tanning products I'd say

Nvr been told about the sex part. Sex is fine as long as your not having complications and ur doctor says its okay. As far as the sun goes, I live in Phoenix,AZ and pregnant with my third. Its just important to stay well hydrated and use sun block if ur gona be outside.
