Lmbo!! Yall got me rolling!
I use to be uncomfortable if I didn't shave before doctor's appointments or shave just in general bt after not being able to see down there nd it became a struggle. I gave up and said oh well f*ck it lol
I just trim before my appointments. I bought a special razor thats for the bikini area. It has different settings so i can either shave completely or just trim because no matter what kind of razor or shaving cream I use I get severe razor burn. At first I shaved before I went to the doctor but now I just dont care because unknown they have seen it all.
I wouldn't shave close to my due date cause I know that it's gonna itch growing back & I don't wanna be itching infront of people.
Im 22 weeks and already have quite the belly and cant really reach. I shave for my self confidence, but its become some what difficult. My boyfriend is so awesome hes going to start doing it for me haha sorry if tmi. It just helps he doesn't care either way because he knows I can't reach.
I honestly don't care rather I have hair on my vagina or not! It's NATURAL , duhh.
I don't shave much anymore I get razor burn and I cut myself one time n it scared me so bad It hurt ahh. Thankfully my hubby prefers a little hair. Just take care of my bikini line with razor and use clippers for a close cut. Its all in what's comfortable for each individual.
Lol thanks ladies!
I do understand doctors have seen worse & aren't foing to be concerned about how my area looks, but it's for my own self-confidence. My 1st delivery I didn't worry about it all-but then again I was completelt single & didn't have anyone telling me how gross it looked.lol Niw my boyfriend reminds me all the time because I went about 1-2months without shaving (something I've never done before)
I have the same problem as u! Like after shaving I don't want anyone or anything touching it lol. So I try to shave a day before my appointment and it usually helps.!
Yeah just shave a few days before your due date:) or a few days before appts . I shaved a week before my due date and i was 10days late having her lol so it didnt work out as planned.
I always shave 2 days before my appointments, and right before I went to the hospital to deliver my first child. I feel like the doctor might get confused with the baby's hair when it comes out lol
Im not going to shave my vagina lol just my legs, I haven't shaved down there since 32weeks, im 37weeks now and not shaving till after I have him..I went hairy last time too, you don't even care once your having your baby
Revolting* not revolving lol
Totally agree with Missymarie214. Obgyns probably see some pretty revolving coochies. I bet they don't even notice stubble anymore
If it makes you uncomfortable, shave about 5 days before the appointment. I've found that whether you shave or not, washing with a ph balancing feminine wash helps with sensitivity. I keep saying I'm going to shave this time because of how embarrassed I was with my first, but now I'm so big it isn't feasible. Lol
I try and shave a day or 2 before my appt or have my bf do it.
For labor idk bc I don't really have an exact day to go off other then knowing it'll be close to my due date, but I could go past my due date also so idk.
I wanted to get the wax strips from walgreens and do that.
Hair is probably the least nasty thing an OBGYN has seen! Lol. Imagine all of the horrible things they've had to look at in their career. After seeing stds up close and personal, I'm sure a bit of hair is the last thing they would care about lol also, maybe you could try to find a razor that's for sensitive skin, and some good sensitive skin shaving cream to help? I can only use the Venus razor for sensitive skin, or I get razor burn something fierce because I have naturally really dry skin.
I shave before doctors appointment cause I would feel weird if I didn't. I use body wash or shaving cream to shave with. Never dry shave
What if you don't shave and you just rim with scissors or a pair of clippers? I don't shave cause I hate when it grows back. My hubby used the clippers and trimmed me pretty short about 2 weeks ago and I think I'll be all good until delivery lol but I'm thankful he did it for me
They dont care about hair in fact they see so much vagina they hardly notice hair. Trust me once you actually have your baby you will learn it doesnt matter lol. Dont do it if t irritates the skin, you could wind up causing ingrown hairs, or infect follicles. The pain youre going through definitely isnt worth being self conscious over something youre the only perso who will notice.
