for most milk doesnt come in until after babys born. but usually most moms leak colostrum before which is what baby will eat first. I started leaking last week at 31+5 weeks (:
I leaked a little colostrum while I was pregnant but my milk didn't come in until I was 2 days postpartum
Never leaked during pregnancy. I did a tiny bit at the beginning of this one, but I recently weaned my daughter. So far nothing again. Don't worry, it doesn't hurt your chances of successfully breastfeeding. I breastfed with an overabundance of milk for over a year!
I started leaking at 27 weeks but it's just colostrum
I began producing colustrum (just enough to leak) in my mid twenty weeks...
I started leaking just a tiny amount of colostrum at 20 wks
I leeaak alllll the timmee. Its ridiculous.. im 25 weeks and been leaking since maybe 16 weeks? So bad i need to use the pads.. is this ok?
Probably. I wouldn't encourage it to leak but it's probably fine. Assume women breastfeed throughout their entire pregnancy and everything is fine. Their colostrum actually comes in when their baby is born. Your body will release hormones to tell your boobs to produce colostrum for baby. It may not take as long for your milk to come in.
I was leaking at 9w. My fiance was messing with them and accidentally squirted a bit out. Funny and embarrassing. I'm paranoid about it because I want to save that for my baby and not risk it turning into milk. So he is limited on breast play.
