Real labor?

Im 38 weeks, my last doc appt was Wed she said im 2cm and 50% effaced and cervix was really soft. Ive had irregular contractions for the past two weeks so my doctor said not to go in until they are 5 min apart or my water broke. Well I havent lost my plug and my water hasnt broke. When I woke up this morning I noticed he had dropped even more. But I was laying down watching tv and I can see my babys butt in my stomach.. it was pulsing up and down like a heartbeat..kind of freaked me out.. lasted about 5 minutes. Then I had a sharp pain shoot through my belly button and then I started having contractions again.. but never started with the pulsing and belly button thing before.. and so far ive had 3.. They are 22 minutes apart and last about 6 min each... I know im not at 5 min apart yet.. but could this be the real deal?? My doctor said she wouldnt be surprised if I had him sooner than my due date (dec 28th) bc of his size and how ive progressed...

Just got checked into l&d about 15min ago my contractions are 3 min apart! Still at a 2 but am 60% effaced and she said she could feel him really low! Im so scared but excited! It just now feels very real!

try getting active mop the floor just keep moving it will help regulate them

They are really long but really far apart, too far apart to be able to tell yet, give it an hour and reassess your situation
