Really Bad Sore Throat and need DESPERATE BUT SAFE help.

28+1 and I have a very sore throat! Which may be the first sign of an oncoming cold.. prior being pregnant that is what it has been. Anywho I just need some ACCURATE information and help.
1. If I am catching a cold, will my child be fine?? I just want my baby girl to remain strong and healthy!

2. What may I take for this sore throat / cold of mines? Can't be sick and in school and pregnant lol..

Thanks everyone! I think its a cold I've contracted because the runny nose is here and congestion and the sore throat is completely gone. Thank God it wasn't strep!

Halls breezers have been my best friend this past week they don't have menthol or alcohol in them so their safe and very yummy. your babys fine. your just gonna go threw hell don't take sudofed cough syrup or ones with alcohol in it.

Could be strep. that's going around every where. I thought I was getting my usual sinus cold and it turned out to be strep.

A cold wont do baby any harm at all. Unfortunately you will just suffer more than usual as your body will have to fight harder than normal. You will probably get very tired if it turns into a cold. All you can take is the paracetamol/tylenol and if you speak to a pharmacist you can probably have some brands of cough drops and throat soothers. Keep an eye on any cough you might develop, it can be difficult to clear your lungs while pregnant because they are all squished, if you have a hard time with coughing, be sure to see a doctor, there may be medicines that fhey can prescribe to help. Hope you feel better soon :)

U can take anything Tylenol just don't take multi symptom n nothing with alcohol. I was sick 3 times while pregnant n my baby is healthy
