How soon after taking antibiotics should you start to ttc??? Conflicting advice given x

Hi all,

I am currently taking antibiotics and due to stop taking them on Monday. Can I start ttc straight away or do I need to give my body time to get them out of my system. One doc said wait two weeks but my usual doc said fine to start soon after. Any advice would be appreciated xxxxx

I took antibiotics while pregnant with no problem. If you are worried double check w your OB :)

Relieved by both of your comments; saw an emergency doctor at the weekend and she said not to try while on them or straight after as best to get them out of my system. x

Why is it a bad thing? I was taking anti biotics  while I was actually pregnant n it didn't cause any harm to me or baby

Hmm...you could always go for it right away...not everyone would end up getting pregnant right off the bat anyway. Or you could just wait until your next cycle, I guess it's up to you.
