Right sided pain?

Hello there! I'm 22yo and found out today that I'm pregnant (nearly 5 weeks). It's my first pregnancy.

I've been experiencing a bit of discomfort, mostly on my right side. Crampy feelings near my right ovary, but down slightly. I also had a really sharp pain there when I tried to push out some gas yesterday. I went to my doctor today and she didn't seem to think it was an eptopic pregnancy, but is sending me for an early ultrasound tomorrow anyway to check the sac is in the right place.

Has anybody experienced this before? What did it end up being? It's SO annoying. I've been lying here with wheat bags on me to try and help it feel better but I'm also worried about what the heat will do because I know you need to avoid saunas/spa's/steam rooms.
