Risks.

When does the risks of miscarriage go down?  I am 14 weeks today and at week 7 I had an ultrasound and the heartbeat was 136 bpm.  I get to hear the heartbeat again via doppler in a week and 1 day.  I had a miscarriage last year at 12 weeks and 3 days.  It's pretty hard to relax, so what do you guys think?

I am so glad I'm not the only one, but I am sorry you had to go through it too.  With that pregnancy I had only had morning sickness twice and sore breasts only lasted maybe a week.  This time I had morning sickness from week 7-12 sore breast the whole time even now, I had extreme tiredness from the beginning until week 13.  Now I just have some odd cravings, extreme thirst and (tmi) but a pretty big sex drive lol.  From what I have read all of that is normal so that gives me a little relief.

Feeling pregnant is a great sign...my first pregnancy ended in a miscarriage at 10+ weeks and I had to undergo a d&c...my baby actually passed away at 5wks but my body didn't realize it till 10...I had no pregnancy symptoms except a missed period and when I got pregnant with my son I had every symptom in the book lol

Oh and I think I forgot to mention that I am pretttty sure that my baby had actually died weeks before I passed it, I passed it at 12 weeks and 3 days.  For a long time I didn't even feel pregnant anymore.  This time things are so different!

I can understand why you are nervous having had one at 12 weeks last time. I think by now, at 14 weeks, you can take deep breaths and enjoy your pregnancy! Best wishes to you.

If you had an early miscarriage before i would say your in the clear now. Try to enjoy your pregnancy.  I had a still birth last year and it made things difficult at times but i had to keep telling myself this is a completely different  pregnancy and that wasn't going to happen again. Try not to let it take  all the joy out of this for you.

12 weeks is usually when the risks go down quite a bit plus u heard the heart beat which is also another good indicator ...I lost a baby just before 16 weeks and they said it was just bad luck an second teimesters are very uncommon...enjoy being pregnant sounds like you're doing just fine Congrats :):)
