Is it safe to drink rootbeer or is it also considered soda?

I never heard the dark colored pop.  My doc didn't have that rule.

Diet soda has artificial sweeteners in it and those are linked to risks and therefore, if given a choice . . .   my doc would want you to drink a regular coke over a diet one.  Diet anything was not allowed due to the artificial sweeteners which are basically chemicals.  good luck

You r not supposed to drink any dark colored soda becuz the coloring they use in it eats your bones.  Also high fructose corn syrup it very bad.

Look on the labels bcoz I know The root beers I drank say caffeine free.  Same for Sierra mist, fanta, sprite,  squirt

You can drink soda just not coke Dr peper and ones with caffeine

I drank pop with my first son and i drink pop with this baby and nothing is wrong everythings actually perfect! Just this time im also drinking a lot of whole millk too

I drank coke my whole pregnancy with my daughter. There's was nothing wrong with my pregnancy and nothing wrong with my daughter.

Drinking pop while pregnant is not detrimental to you or your babys health. No, its no good for you (high sugar content), but if you stay away from diet pop as well as caffinated youre just fine. Of course, its not good to drink pop excessively, but having a root beer will not hurt you or your baby. Like I said, just try to avoid diet pop as well as caffenated pop. The only root beer I know of that has caffeine is Barqs. The rest should be caffeine free. Always check though.

root beer is a pop.  I drank it when I was pregnant.  I had given up caffeine drinks and root beer is typically doesn't have caffeine so it was my go to 'treat' that I'd have sometimes.  My doctor had no issue with it.  good luck
