true or false labor?

So ive had a bad backache for two days, well a little over an hour ago i got this intense pain right above my pelvis on my right side, it lasted about a minute, then happened again forty minutes later, then twenty to thirty... im not sure if these are real or what they hurt like period cramps, just a little stronger im 36+3 today.

The could be braxton hicks. I described mine to my Dr as really bad pms cramps and that's what he told me they were. The can be consistent at times but not for very long. Im 29w5d and sometimes.ill get them where they come and go all day. If they continue give ur doc a call just incase bc u are so far along.

Definitely keep timing them, and if they get to around every 15-20 minutes call the doctor. Make sure that you are just resting and keeping hydrated though. I was having the same issue a few days ago and they just said that I was dehydrated but I was indeed going into preterm labor but they sent me home and said that I needed to drink a lot of water and make sure not to be on my feet for a long period of time. Although you are 36 + 3 they might not stop the labor (if that is what it is) but they also might do what they can to keep baby in there a little bit longer. Good luck!
