Sacrificing my vagina.

I'm 37 wks pregnant. This may be a weird concern but is anyone else worried about how the baby will affect their vagina? I've had a pretty good sex life but I was wondering if your vagina closes back up?

Omg lol I was 20 when I had my son and I will never forget the fear of being "ruined" I had an episiotomy they stitch everything back up if need be if there's any difference it probably won't be to big a difference lol I love it I think every woman thinks about this.

I've had 4 kids and all were normal vaginal deliveries and all were good size babies. My sex life is better than ever. We make love almost everyday and it is the same it was before we had kids.

I'm pregnant with my first and this was a bit of a concern as well. I've been told exercising helps with that, apparently jogging does the trick? Lol

Just get stitches and don't have sex for six weeks! It's do gross when people do have sex and get pregnant right after they just had a baby, and their kids are ten months apart. Then I would think you would be loose. It's just like if you don't have sex for a while and than you do your back tight like a virgin. I have a son and my sex life is great, until I got pregnant.

to be honest im kinda scared because i had 2 c-sections and my doctor is letting me go naturally but its always been in the back of my mind even when i was pregnant with my first born, but unfortunately by emergency c-section so never got that chance and my second was a repeat c-section.

Im pregnant with my first baby and im also worried about this to. It amazes me to how it will go back to its normal size and how sex will be after. Your not alone thinking about this I think every woman has there concern about the effect it will have on their vagina. I already do Pelvic floor exercises so im hoping that it will help me go back to normal size. Iv read that you have to do them for at least 6months to feel any effect or difference. To do them you have to clench like your holding a wee or wind for a for seconds then gradually hold them for abit longer. The key is to not hold your breath an tense your belly. You should give them a try. You can do them every where you go and no one will know your doing them. Hope this helps.   you can also buy a kegal exerciser that helps you with doin pelvic floor exercises x

I've had 3 with episiotomys with all three and all is well.  Tmi but everything is the same it all shrinks back. Lol My kids ranged from 6-8 lbs.  Just do the aftercare instructions and wait until you are medically clear to have sex.  Good luck

It obviously gets larger to accommodate a baby but it is meant to be able to do that and it will get smaller. Honeslty I have not noticed a difference since having my first and she was a vaginal delivery. But I am sure it varied between women. And its not weird, I am sure it crosses every woman's mind when they think vaginal delivery.
