I'm getting close to 23 weeks but my back is already pretty painful.. I haven't gained any crazy amount of weight so what's up?

I'm 25 weeks I've lost weight and my back hurts as well. There is no set date when it should start to hurt... and the baby is big enough at this point to hurt you're back.. its BC of you're posture... the center of gravity is thrown off BC of our bump and we try to fix it and have bad posture..

It could also be the muscles and ligements in your back stretching to adjust to the weight of baby. I get a pretty sore back too and I'm 23 weeks as well. I find putting a pillow behind my back when I sit on a couch or chair helps and a body pillow between the legs and under the baby bump really helps with waking up with a sore back. My bump is pretty big so far though.

well it's prob because the way you sleep, idk that baby's big enough to be hurting you yet.. I'm 37 weeks and mine just started about 2 weeks ago and my doctor said it was probably the way I sleep, walk, posture, etc.. he told me to have my fiancé massage my lower back and it feels amazing :) and back stops hurting for a few days
