Safe sex

So this is my first pregnancy and im admitably ignorant on most of this stuff. Ive always heard that sex is recommended during pregnancy, releasing endorphins leading to a happier baby and such. But now whenever my husband and I have sex it feels like his penis is rearranging my intestines. From what ive heard the baby is protected from such intruders but i just want to make sure that he isnt doing any harmful damage to our baby. Its typically an inside pressure around my middle abdominal area and is usually sore for a couple of hours after. Is this normal? I meant to ask my dr but my stepmom went with me to my last visit and that kind of deterred me.

Lol intruders!  Made me laugh!  Just tell him not to go so deep . You're sensitive :) it's very normal and nothing to worry about. Just mention it at the next appointment :)

It's probably slight uterine contractIons that can be caused by orgasm.
