Trying to figure out how far long i am
Must periods were always around 13-17 until October 2010 when i got the Mirena IUD. It changed to the 1st of the month. I had it taken out a year later. My periods stayed around the first....until July 8 2012 came. I took a test. It was positive. As I'm sure most can relate one test JUST isn't enough of a confirmation. I took a test everyday for a week. All positive. The 15th i started spotting. I took a digital test and it was negative. I never went to the Dr just assumed i was either not pregnant or miscarried. Spotting stopped a few days later. August 14 I spot again. However i just am assuming my periods are going back to what they were before IUD. Now its Sept 18th and i took 2 digital test and both are positive. Is it possible i was pregnant this whole time? Or just now "freshly" pregnant? My ob won't see me until end of October. Also should add i have a thyroid condition. Not sure if that threw anything off..
I started bleeding Monday. Went to ER, and they said threatened miscarriage even though I had a heartbeat. Went to Dr today, baby is still there. But no heartbeat. :( I was 8 weeks Monday.
Yay! Congrats :) I saw my baby at six weeks in a clinic and they weren't much but it made the experience so real! I'm happy for you.
No :( it was just a clinic...not my actual ob. They did bloodwork and based off the hormone level she said based off last spotting I was 6 weeks. She said if she did an ultrasound it would just be a sac and look like nothing in it. Which would freak me out, so told me to just wait for my ob because i would be farther along. Its baby #4 so i know she could have done a vaginal ultrasound. However i didn't fight her on it.
It is possible to get false negatives however not likely after getting positives. My best guess is you are newly pregnant however you could totally have been pregnant the whole time. Going to the doctor will be the only way to really know.
thats HARD TO SAY REALLY, YOU NEED A ULTRASOUND, LIKE YOUR EITHER AROUND 2 MONTHS ALMOST 3 OR YOUR LIKE A MONTH, I PERSONALLY WOULD SAY THAT YOU WERE PREGNANT THE WHOLE TIME, WITH THE DATES SO CLOSE YOU WOULD NEED AN UILTRASOUND TO COMFIRM
