Are my pregnant?

My partner and I do not use any contraception (just the withdrawal method)

For the past 3 months I wait anxiously for my period to arrive as I keep thinking I may be pregnant and when my period does arrive I use this a as a sign that I am not, this is why I haven’t bothered with pregnancy tests, but now I keep reading that some women do have period like bleeding when pregnant???

The reason I keep thinking I may be is the symptoms (they have been worse this 3rd month).
- I feel nauseous and extremely tired after having a good 9-10 hours sleep at night, I feel I need a nap mid afternoon and still go to bed early (9pm);
- My breasts get very tender and sore sometimes;
- My tummy is always bloated and hard and I have put on weight;
- I keep forgetting things which I am usually very good with;
- Sometimes constipated;
- I am craving certain foods and eating a lot more; and
- I have headaches and urinate often

The first 2 months my period has arrived exactly on the right day (as usual 28 days from the first day of my last period) but this month (3rd month) it has come 5 days early (very unusual for me) but does seem quite normal – cramps and heavy bleeding.

Is this at all possible????

Its highly unlikely you are pregnant if you are having period-like bleeding - this can happen, but it is very rare.

That said, if you have reason to suspect you are pregnant, the best thing to do is to take a test.

As a side note, the withdrawal method is not a form of birth control.

Pregnancy and period symptoms are so close that it is usually very hard to tell if you are or are not. I don't advise anyone to use to pull out method seeing how I'm 15 wks preg from using it. If this is a monthly thing that has you on edge and your not trying to have a baby why not use some form of birth control to make sure theres no unwanted pregnancy. A women can bleed while pregnant but its usually not like a normal cycle. The color is either off or the time span. All the symptoms you've listed just seem like your body is changing and your period is changing as a result of it. Its very normal for all these things to happen with your period. It will probably go back to how it was in a couple months. All the joys of being a women right ;))
